Am I allowed to add a Backer or customer to my mailing list?

Permission to email Backers or customers depends on how their contact information was collected:

• Prelaunch (interest list): If someone provided their email to receive launch notifications, you may add them to your mailing list for project updates.

• Active funding: Backers who opt in during checkout may be contacted.

• Store purchases: Customers who opt in during checkout may be contacted.

All communications must include a one-click unsubscribe option, and you must honor removal requests promptly.
