What is the 1099-K form, and when will I receive mine?
A 1099-K reports payments you received for goods and services during the prior tax year. Stripe will issue a 1099-K to you when both of the following apply:
Your Creator account and linked bank are based in the United States, and
You have processed over 200 transactions and more than $20,000 in gross revenue.
When both conditions are met, Stripe files the 1099-K with the IRS and provides you a copy. Stripe collects the information for the form from the W-9 you completed during onboarding. Forms for the prior tax year are typically issued by January 31 and are available electronically in your Stripe dashboard. Stripe can also mail a physical copy on request.
